National Careers Week

National Careers Week 6th -11th March 2023

Fearnhill School is celebrating National Careers Week by supporting our young people both now and in the future through the world of Careers Education.

We want to encourage families to have conversations about careers, starting with encouraging our young people to start exploring, sparking their curiosity and building excitement for their future by talking about careers during National Careers Week.

We have some resources to help get these conversations started. These can be found on nationalcareersweek.com

  • Information on many careers from over 40 National organisations, including our supporters the Natwest Group and NHS Health Careers.
  • An online virtual careers fair
  • A short ‘Believe’ film, created to support young people to imagine and believe in their potential
  • Activities for both primary and secondary school students.
  • A short ‘Hope’ film with stress and wellbeing resources. This features young people talking about their hopes and anxieties for the future. Wellbeing advice and practical tips on managing feelings of stress is provided by GP and broadcaster Dr Radha Modgil.
