Welcome from our Headteacher
Welcome to Fearnhill School, where we pride ourselves on being a small, happy community - the Fearnhill Family. At our school every student is safe, supported and cared for, and we work tirelessly to ensure that everyone who walks through our doors feels like
they belong.
Strong relationships are at the heart of everything we do. By creating a supportive and nurturing environment, we help our students to achieve their full potential. We have high expectations for behaviour and academic ambitions for every pupil and our track record of achievement is a testament to our commitment to excellence.

This week, Year 12 and 13 volunteers gathered to have the first meeting of the group organising Fearnhill's very own Model United Nations event. This will take place in July over 2 days with conferences, meetings and debates involving participants from schools in the area as well as our own team of delegates. Our local MP, Chris Hinchliffe, has already agreed to open the event on 8th July. This is an exciting opportunity which our Yr 13 and Yr 12 students are leading and they hope to bring you more news soon! #unitednations #fearnhill #sixthform

A massive well done to our proud table winners for this term, Sapphire, Ella and Sarlett. As well as Mia who was amazing in our Fearnhill's Got Talent competition and secured the runner's up spot. A final congratulations goes to Mr King who won the competition. We are super proud of everyone's achievements this year and wish everyone the best summer!
On Monday year 9 students were given the opportunity to celebrate their efforts across the last 3 years with an end of KS3 celebration and summer spectacular. This involved several areas that they could enjoy, including; an inflatable obstacle course, ice cream van, outdoor games and karaoke. Years 7, 8 and 10 were also given the chance to have an hour each to enjoy it all too. Great fun was had by everyone, including staff, and this was a great way to celebrate the year drawing to a close. #fearnhill #celebration #obstaclecourse
7H were given the project of creating a tile with their initial and then lots of texture using clay. These were then fired and the students then mixed colours to paint their tiles. They had some great results, each tile is very unique and they all look amazing. #artwork #fearnhill
Our year 9 DofE students were awarded with their bronze certificates this week, this marks all of their amazing hard work within the Duke of Edinburgh programme this year. We are incredibly proud of all of them! #dofe #welldone #fearnhill
