“My name is Charlie, I am taking Geography, Maths and Sport at Fearnhill School where I am currently in Year 13.
I have loved coming to Fearnhill Sixth Form and I feel I have progressed so much as a person since the start of Year 12. Fearnhill has provided me with a safe, fun place to learn and progress and the teachers cannot be any better. I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone to come and join Fearnhill Sixth Form without a doubt.
What a time I have had and what a time you will have as well!”
Charlie, Year 13
“I am in Year 12, studying Criminology, Media and Health & Social Care. I’ve always found Fearnhill to be very supportive and welcoming.
I decided to apply to sixth form here because they offered a range of subjects that I found interesting and that I have never studied before. I like that in sixth form the classes are a lot smaller, all my 3 classes have less than 10 people in. I like this because we can get 1 to 1 support if we need extra help with parts of the work. I also enjoy the free periods we get. This allows me to get school work finished and complete assignments that are due throughout the school day, so I don’t have to do them at home and I can have time to myself without having to stress about them not being completed.”
Emily, Year 12
“I am in Year 12, studying 3D Design, Media Studies and Criminology. I really enjoy sixth form and I feel it is a very friendly environment surrounded by excellent support and amazing learning opportunities.
Since starting sixth form I feel like I have not only come on as a more confident person, but it has also made me considerably more proactive in my work and day to day life.
I would recommend Fearnhill Sixth Form to anyone who wants to make the most of their educational/social opportunities, as Fearnhill not only offers the very best teaching, but in addition to that, a Fearnhill family that can more often than not make a school environment that little bit better.”
Mitchell, Year 12
“I chose to continue my learning at Fearnhill due to the close knit community that has been established here. It provides a more focused and specialized learning environment allowing other students to dive deeper into the subjects they are passionate about.
My own relationships with each of my teachers has enhanced my ability to perform in lessons and also my confidence to ask for help when needed.”
Jaya, Year 12
“I’ve just started Year 12, studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Studying at Fearnhill has been great because smaller class sizes means I receive more support from my teachers and lessons feel more personal and can be easily tailored to the classes needs.
The Sixth Form staff are really helpful and always send us information on opportunities regarding university or extracurricular activities.”
Rhys, Year 12
